April 12, 2011 - Here is the daily report from Day 2 from the Canadian team at the 2011 Pan-American Championships in Mar Del Plate, Argentina.

April 11, 2011-The 10-member team from Canada arrived in Mar del Plata Argentina to contest the Junior Pan Am Championships, after 36 hours of travel. The team went to the Velodrome to build their bikes and get 40 minutes of spinning on the quite fast concrete outdoor track.

The National Team will be looking to repeat its success from the 2010 Junior Pan American Championships that were held in Mexico City.Throughout the event, Canadian cyclists collected a total of 10 medals, placing third in the medal standings.

July 6, 2010 – The Burnaby Velodrome is active with endurance track riders. From June 28 until July 24 the invited men’s team pursuit pool of riders will be based out of the Vancouver area in an effort to position themselves in a qualifying spot for the 2012 Olympic Games.
